What’s a guy gotta do for a Bonner around here?
November 10th, 2009 | by SL |I don’t pay for cable. That’s not to say I don’t have cable, but I definitely don’t pay for cable. Unlike their bag-sucking brothers the Toronto Maple Leafs, it can be extremely difficult to find Toronto Raptors’ games on a skimpy selection of channels.

The internet allowed me to catch the fourth quarter, and that was enough. Despite holding a brief lead late in the game, the Raptors resorted to Mitchell-ball and ended up on the losing end of a 131-124 final. For a few minutes this looked like it might be one of the tightest finishes of the season thus far, but the score makes it appear much closer than it was. Who needs Tim Duncan and Tony Parker when you’ve got Manu Ginobli and like four mid-90’s all-stars? Nuff said.
For what it’s worth, Matt Bonner finished with 18 points off the bench (he knows we’re watching) and Ginobli buried our hopes with a 36 point contribution… off the bench. Raptors TV was a good place for this game.
